From our first meeting Melissa has been such a huge support. When I struggled with doing my injections myself when my... husband was away, Melissa was right there! She not only offered to come help with my first injection alone. She also made time to video chat and walk me through the whole process when my schedule was too busy to accommodate that. I was doing a surrogacy journey and Melissa was my intended parents support but we formed a great friendship that made the decision easy to have her be my doula.

Melissa came into my life this week, the day I was starting my hormone injections for my first round of IVF. Until the... point of our conversation I had no idea ANYTHING IVF entailed, and certainly had anxiety surrounding giving myself injections everyday with no experience. She was so knowledgeable, gave me the skills to make it through and outlined what my experiences would look like on the journey. I only spoke to Melissa for the first time yesterday and she has already changed my life! I have been through so much... and felt like I was stuck in a hopeless situation.
I’ve had recurrent miscarriages and my clinic wasn’t doing anything to address my underlying health issues that are likely causing my pregnancy losses.
I felt trapped at my clinic and did not feel heard but didn’t know how to switch government funding to a different clinic.
I was scared to stay with my clinic and risk more miscarriages but scared to switch and lose my funding.
Melissa talked through my concerns with me and by the next day already had set up a consultation with another clinic for me.
She helped facilitate my discussion with the doctor so that he was able to answer my questions and help me work out a solution to my problem.
